DAY 1: Kuala Lumpur Arrival ~ Cameron Highlands
Your Malaysian adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur (before 10:00am). From there, we set off on a scenic drive to the Cameron Highlands, which takes approximately 3 to 4 hours.
Along the way, we’ll stop to visit a local waterfall and an aboriginal site, offering a glimpse into the region’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to freshen up. In the afternoon, enjoy a short introductory tour of the Cameron Highlands. Highlights include a visit to the Butterfly Farm and some free time to explore Brinchang Town, known for its vibrant markets and cool climate.

DAY 2: Cameron Highlands
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, we board a 4×4 jeep and begin our adventure to Gunung Brinchang for the Mossy Forest Tour.
Our journey takes us through rolling tea gardens, offering stunning views of the highlands. Once we arrive, we’ll take a guided interpretive walk through the enchanting Mossy Forest. Accompanied by a nature guide, you’ll discover a variety of exotic flora including the fascinating pitcher plant, delicate orchids, ancient ferns, aromatic spices, and traditional medicinal plants.
Following the forest walk, we descend to the renowned Boh Tea Plantation for a guided tour of the tea factory (please note the factory is closed on Mondays and public holidays). Here, you’ll gain insight into the tea-making process and enjoy panoramic views of the plantation.
After the tour, return to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore the local area at your own pace.

DAY 3: Cameron Highlands ~ Belum
After breakfast at your hotel, we begin our descent from the cool climate of the Cameron Highlands and travel to Gopeng.
Our first stop is Gua Tempurung, one of the largest limestone caves in Peninsular Malaysia. Enjoy a guided walk through this impressive cave system, where you’ll witness stunning rock formations, stalactites, and stalagmites shaped over millions of years.
We then continue to the royal town of Kuala Kangsar, home to the Sultan of Perak. Here, we visit the magnificent Ubudiah Mosque—considered one of the most beautiful mosques in Malaysia—and view the royal palace from the outside.
From Kuala Kangsar, our journey continues through scenic countryside and local villages before arriving at Banding Island, nestled within the Belum-Temengor Rainforest.
Check in to your resort and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

DAY 4: Belum
After breakfast at the resort, we set off by boat to explore the pristine waters of Temengor Lake on a shared group tour.
Our journey takes us deep into the Belum Rainforest, beginning with a visit to an aboriginal settlement in Lower Belum, where you’ll gain insight into the traditional lifestyle of the local Orang Asli people.
Next, enjoy a guided jungle trek in search of the rare and fascinating Rafflesia flower—one of the largest blooms in the world, found only in select rainforest environments. Along the way, keep an eye out for local wildlife, especially at the salt lick where animals often gather.
Take a break and relax with a picnic lunch by a scenic waterfall, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the rainforest.
We return to the resort in the late afternoon. The remainder of the day is free for you to unwind or explore the area at your own pace.

DAY 5: Belum ~ Penang
Enjoy breakfast at the resort before we begin our journey to Penang via the scenic East-West Highway.
We cross the impressive Penang Bridge onto Penang Island, arriving in the vibrant city of George Town, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site known for its rich cultural history and colonial charm.
Before checking in to your hotel, we visit Kek Lok Si Temple—one of the largest and most magnificent temple complexes in Southeast Asia. Marvel at its grand architecture, tiered pagodas, and the towering statue of the Goddess of Mercy.
After the temple visit, we proceed to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free at your leisure to explore George Town’s charming streets, local eateries, or simply relax.

DAY 6: Penang
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off on a guided city tour of George Town, exploring its rich cultural heritage and iconic landmarks.
Our first stop is the Esplanade, where you’ll see historical colonial-era buildings and the famous Queen Victoria Memorial Clock Tower. We then visit the traditional waterfront stilt houses of the Clan Jetties, offering a glimpse into Penang’s living heritage.
Next, stroll through vibrant Penang Street and explore the beautifully preserved Goddess of Mercy Temple, followed by a visit to colourful Little India and a local Indian temple. We also take time to admire Penang’s famous street art, with its creative murals and installations dotted throughout the city.
Continue to the impressive Sleeping Buddha Temple before finishing the tour with a peaceful visit to the Penang Botanical Garden, known for its lush greenery and tropical plant species.
We return to the hotel in the afternoon. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or continue exploring at your own pace.

DAY 7: Penang ~ Ipoh
After breakfast, we depart Penang and begin our journey to Ipoh. Along the way, we stop at the Bukit Merah Orangutan Sanctuary, where you’ll have the chance to observe these incredible primates in a natural and protected environment.
Our next stop is the historic town of Taiping, once the wealthiest tin mining centre in Malaysia. Here, the British built the country’s first railway line, connecting Taiping to Port Weld to support the tin trade.
Visit the Taiping Museum—Malaysia’s first museum—before enjoying a scenic drive around the tranquil Taiping Lake Gardens, known for their lush greenery and serene landscape.
We then continue our journey to Ipoh, arriving in the afternoon for hotel check-in.
Later, we explore Ipoh with a relaxed city drive. Travel along Hugh Low Street and cross the Kinta River, which separates the city’s two halves. On the west bank lies the Old Town—home to charming trading houses, heritage buildings, Little India, and the city’s historical heart.
Key landmarks include the grand Ipoh Railway Station, the colonial-era Town Hall, St. Michael’s Institution, and the popular Ipoh Padang (field).
Return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at your own leisure.
