During our 15 day package, you will explore the temples and religious sites of Durbur Square in Kathmandu.  Step out of the city as you head towards stunning Pokhara the city of lakes – stand in awe at the imposing Himalayas reflecting back in the crystal water of the lakes.  Continue onwards to Chitwan National Park to spot local wildlife, trek through lush jungle and visit local villages.

Take an included international flight from Kathmandu to Paro in Bhutan. The Bhutanese call their country Druk Yul, or the Land of the Thunder Dragon. It is the smallest country located in the Himalayan mountain range. It has a strong Buddhist culture and is governed by a development philosophy known as Gross National Happiness. DAY 1: Arrive Kathmandu

Welcome to Nepal! Your holiday to Nepal & Bhutan begins with a airport pick up. You will be met by our airport representative and transferred to hotel. The remainder of the day is at your own leisure.

DAY 2: Kathmandu City Tour

Today, you go on a guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu, and that includes a visit to UNESCO world heritage sites. The Tour is fascinating as you are visiting various palaces, temples, shrines, and courtyards. The day tour showcases you so much about Nepalese culture, art, and architecture. The Tour today incldes a Tour of Swoyambhunath stupa and Patan Durbar Square. Swayambhunath Stupa is one of the great Buddhist Chaityas in Nepal, and it is said to be 2000 years of age. Swayambhunath stupa is painted on the four sides of the spire bases are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. Patan Durbar square is a widely known place, and this is brimming with antiquated spots, sanctuaries, and shrine noted for their perfect carvings. The former Royal Palace is the focal point of Patan’s religious and public activity and houses an exhibition hall containing a variety of bronze statues and religious articles.

DAY 3: Kathmandu ~ Pokhara

This morning we take the tourist bus along the scenic Trisuli and Marsyangdi Rivers towards Pokhara (approx 6 hours). Take in the breathtaking views of Ganesh Himal and the Manaslu peak in the distance. Pokhara is a tourist’s paradise full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, & temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with stunning mountains. On arrival into Pokhara, the city of lakes, we will transfer to the hotel and you can relax for the rest of the day and enjoy this beautiful town of serene lakes.

DAY 4: Pokhara ~ Naudanda ~ Pokhara

You start the tour early morning today by driving to Sarangkot’s viewpoint. The Sarangkot is a beautiful hill that is famous for sunrise views over the Himalayas. You enjoy a close-up look at the Annapurna, Fishtail, and many others with sunrise and have breakfast at a hotel in Sarangkot. After breakfast, you start the hike to Naudada that takes about 3 – 4 hours on plat level path, and you have great Himalayan views on the hiking. You have lunch in Naudada and drive back to Pokhara. You also visit the Bindhyabasini temple on the way back to the hotel. The evening is free to explore yourself.

DAY 5: Pokhara ~ Peace Stupa ~ Pokhara Tour

After having breakfast at the hotel, you start the tour for today. You take a boat ride across the Phewa Lake and visit the Barahi temple. You then hike to the World Peace Stupa that may take an hour. You can see fantastic views of the Lake, Himalayas and the Pokhara valley. You then hike down to Davis falls, visit it and take a tour of the ancient and longest cave in South Asia and drive back to Pokhara. The evening is free to explore yourself.

DAY 6: Pokhara to Chitwan National Park

After having breakfast at the hotel, you drive to Chitwan national park with enjoying beautiful lush green hills, rivers, waterfalls, and small settlement areas. Upon reaching Chitwan national park, you check in to the lodge, freshen up and have lunch. Later, in the evening, you visit Tharu village.

DAY 7: Chitwan National Park Full Day

Enjoy breakfast amidst the sweet chirping of birds, we set out for a Full day of jungle activities that include Jungle Walking, watching Elephants bathing in the river and visit the elephant Breeding center. In the park, you get to see the range of wild animals like one-horned rhino, wild elephants, leopard, etc. Likewise, you also see different types of flora and vegetation. During supper, you will be treated to a traditional Tharu cultural stick dance and enjoy another night at the lodge.

DAY 8: Chitwan to Kathmandu

After breakfast we take you for an interesting Bird watching tour in the morning and then drive back to Kathmandu. Evening in Kathmandu is at your own leisure.

DAY 9: Tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square

After having breakfast at the hotel, you go for a day tour of Bhaktapur. The Bhaktapur Durbar Square is highly known for its immense & tragic historical features that include heritage monuments that still echo the vibrant histories of these once-upon-a-time ancient kingdoms. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a piece of the ancient Newari city of Bhaktapur (Bhadgaon or Khwopa – Newar ख्वप लायकू) best known for its attractions. The square contains a regal royal residence that became the overwhelming focus as one of three imperial capitals during the fifteenth century in the Kathmandu valley.

DAY 10: Fly To Bhutan!

After having breakfast at hotel, we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Bhutan! Upon arrival in Paro, clear customs and immigration. Keep your copy of the visa clearance letter handy and your visa has been paid. Meet your Guide and driver outside the terminal building and transfer to Thimphu and Sightseeing around the city in the evening and overnight at hotel.

DAY 11: Thimpu ~ Punakha

After having breakfast at the hotel, you start to drive to Punakha by passing through Dhochu la pass. You check in to the hotel in Punakha and go to visit Punakha Dzong. Punakha Dzong is the second oldest in Bhutan that built-in 1637 AD. Punakha Dzong is located in the middle of the Male and Female River. Then you go to visit Chime Lhakhang temple and some other places around, return to the hotel and overnight at hotel.After having breakfast at the hotel, you start to drive back to Thimphu, where you stop to have lunch. You then continue driving to Paro. Check in to the hotel, and the evening is free and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 12: Punakha ~ Thimpu ~ Paro

After having breakfast at the hotel, you start to drive back to Thimphu, where you stop to have lunch. You then continue driving to Paro. Check in to the hotel, and the evening is free and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 13: Hike Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang)

Wake up early morning and have a delicious breakfast. You then go on a short hike to visit Tiger Nest Monastery, which is also known as Taktsang monastery that takes about 3-4 hours to go and return. Taktsang Monastery is a prominent Himalayan Buddhist sacred site and the temple complex located in the Cliffside of the upper Paro valley in Bhutan. You then go to visit the National Museum, Farm House and explore the local market, then return to the hotel.

DAY 14: Paro ~ Kathmandu

We transfer you to the airport in Paro to take a flight back to Kathmandu enjoying aerial views of Tibetan snow-capped peaks. Upon landing at the airport, you move to the hotel. The rest of the days is free to explore yourself and shopping as this is your last day stay in Nepal after a 2-week Nepal Bhutan tour.
