Day 1: Arrive Stockholm, Sweden
Welcome to Sweden, a country known for its rich history, stunning landscapes, and vibrant cities. As you arrive in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, you’ll feel the energy of this cultural hub, famous for its blend of old-world charm and modern Scandinavian design. Depending on your arrival time, you’ll have the option to either unwind and settle in at the hotel or venture out to explore the city’s many attractions. Wander through the charming streets of Stockholm, perhaps taking a stroll along the waterfront, or simply enjoy a fika, the Swedish tradition of coffee and cake, at one of the local cafés.
In the evening, we’ll meet at the hotel, where you’ll have the chance to get to know your Tour Manager and the rest of the group. A welcome dinner awaits, featuring a delicious three-course set menu or a buffet filled with Scandinavian culinary delights. It’s a perfect way to kick off the adventure ahead and get a taste of Sweden’s culinary traditions.

Day 2: Stockholm ~ Helsinki, Finland
After breakfast, we’ll dive into Stockholm’s rich history and vibrant culture with a private, four-hour guided tour of the city. Your coach will take us through Stockholm’s most famous sites, offering views of its stunning architecture, waterways, and green spaces.
One of the highlights of your day is a walking tour through Gamla Stan, Stockholm’s old town, where the cobblestone streets and colourful buildings offer a glimpse into the city’s medieval past. It’s the heart of Stockholm, full of narrow alleyways, quaint shops, and historic landmarks.
Next, we’ll visit City Hall, one of the most iconic buildings in Stockholm, known for its distinctive tower and the Nobel Prize banquet held in its Blue Hall. Inside, we’ll admire the Golden Hall, whose walls are covered in over 18 million gold mosaic tiles, depicting Swedish history and culture.
The city tour will end back at the hotel, where you’ll have some free time to relax or continue exploring Stockholm at your own pace.
Later, a coach will pick us up from the hotel to head to the ferry terminal. We’ll board the Tallink Silja ferry, a luxurious way to travel to Helsinki, with stunning views of the Swedish archipelago as you sail through the Åland Islands, a fascinating region made up of thousands of skerries and islets. Enjoy a buffet dinner on board, with the islands providing a beautiful backdrop to your meal. After dinner, retire to your cabin for a restful night at sea.

Day 3: Helsinki
We’ll start the day with a buffet breakfast onboard the ferry, enjoying the views of the Gulf of Finland as you approach Helsinki. Once we’ve docked, we’ll meet your local guide, who will introduce us to the best of Finland’s capital on a three-hour private tour.
Your tour includes the spectacular Temppeliaukio Church, better known as the Rock Church. Built directly into solid rock, this unique church is a prime example of Finnish architecture and is a serene and atmospheric space, with natural light streaming through its copper dome.
We’ll also visit the Sibelius Monument, a massive sculpture dedicated to Finland’s most famous composer, Jean Sibelius. Located in Sibelius Park, the monument is made of over 600 steel pipes and is a beautiful tribute to the composer’s influence on Finnish culture.
After your city tour, we’ll check in at your hotel, where you’ll have the afternoon free to explore Helsinki further at your leisure. The city centre is full of hidden gems, from the grand Senate Square and Helsinki Cathedral to its many cosy cafés and boutique shops. Take some time to immerse yourself in the lively, design-forward atmosphere of Helsinki before settling in for the night.

Day 5: Rovaniemi ~ Saariselkä
In the morning, we’ll board a tour bus and head to Santa Claus Village, a magical place that brings out the inner child in all of us. As the official home of Santa, this is where you can meet reindeer, explore the many quaint shops, and even meet Santa himself, who enjoys a peaceful summer here before his busy winter season.
From there, we’ll continue your journey north, stopping in the village of Sodankylä to see its beautiful Old Church, built in 1689. It’s one of Finland’s oldest wooden churches and a lovely spot to appreciate the local architecture.
After some free time for lunch, we’ll press on to Saariselkä, a stunning location in the heart of Lapland’s wilderness. Here, we’ll check into the Midnight Sun Village, where you’ll stay in a unique cabin with a 360-degree glass roof. This is one of the best places in the world to experience the Midnight Sun, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful Arctic landscape from the comfort of your own room.

Day 6: Saariselkä
You’ll have the morning to relax and soak in the tranquillity of Saariselkä, or if you’re feeling adventurous, join one of the optional excursions, such as an electric fat bike safari.
After lunch at the hotel, we’ll embark on a unique and exciting adventure: a hike through the wilderness with Siberian huskies. These energetic dogs will be your companions as you hike through the stunning Arctic landscapes, with each dog attached to your waist belt to help guide you along the way. Your knowledgeable guide will teach you about the local flora and fauna, and you’ll have the opportunity to pick fresh berries and drink from pristine mountain streams as you go. The hike includes a moderate climb, making it perfect for those with some hiking experience.
After your exhilarating afternoon, we’ll return to the hotel for dinner.
In the evening, we’ll embark on a Midnight Sun Photography Expedition. We’ll make a stop at the serene Lake Inari, an important site in Sámi mythology, before heading to a wilderness camp by the lake. Here, we’ll enjoy warm drinks and prepare a traditional Lapland midnight snack while waiting for the sun to dip near the horizon, providing perfect conditions for capturing the magical Arctic light.

Day 7: Saariselkä ~ Kirkenes, Norway
After breakfast, we’ll board a private coach and continue your journey through the stunning landscapes of Finnish Lapland. Your first stop will be the small town of Inari, where we’ll visit the SIIDA Museum, dedicated to the culture and history of the Sámi, the indigenous people of Lapland. The museum’s open-air exhibition provides an immersive look into the traditional way of life of the Sámi people, with artefacts and exhibits that showcase their deep connection to the land.
We’ll have lunch at the museum restaurant before continuing your journey north, crossing the border into Norway and arriving in Kirkenes in the afternoon. This frontier town has a fascinating history, having played a significant role during WWII, and today, it’s known for its rich king crab fishing industry.
In the evening, we’ll check into your hotel in Kirkenes, where you can relax you prepare for the next phase of your adventure.

Day 8: Kirkenes ~ Embark Ship
After breakfast, we’ll visit the famous Snowhotel Kirkenes 365, a truly unique hotel made entirely of snow and ice. Even in the middle of summer, this winter wonderland offers a magical escape. During your guided tour, you’ll learn about the fascinating construction of the hotel and enjoy a welcome drink. You’ll also have the chance to meet the resident huskies and reindeer, with the excited pups sure to steal your heart.
After your visit, we’ll head to the pier to board your ship. Please note that there is no porterage service at Kirkenes pier, and your tour manager will bid the group farewell after embarkation.Once aboard, settle into your cabin and take some time to explore the ship. Your ship will make brief stops at Mehamn and Kjøllefjord during the night before arriving in Hammerfest, once the northernmost town in the world. You’ll have time to explore Hammerfest, where you can visit the UNESCO-listed Meridian Column or stop by the Polar Bear Society to learn more about the Arctic’s wildlife.
We’ll continue south along Norway’s rugged coastline, stopping at Øksfjord and Skjervøy, a charming town surrounded by dramatic mountain peaks.
By evening, we’ll arrive in Tromsø, often called the Gateway to the Arctic. We’ll stay in port for a couple of hours, giving you the chance to take a midnight stroll under the glow of the Midnight Sun. If you’re feeling adventurous, join one of the optional excursions, such as a midnight boat ride or a classical concert at Tromsø’s iconic Arctic Cathedral.

Today, we’ll sail through the breathtaking Lofoten and Vesterålen archipelagos, some of Norway’s most famous and beautiful regions. Your early morning stop is in Harstad, where you can join an optional excursion to explore the scenic landscapes and cultural heritage of Vesterålen.
We’ll sail through the narrow Risøyrenna channel, built specifically for Hurtigruten ships, offering spectacular views of the islands.
As you continue south, we’ll pass through the Raftsund, a narrow strait flanked by towering peaks that rise 1,000 metres from the sea. If conditions allow, we’ll enter the stunning Trollfjord, an unforgettable experience where the cliffs seem close enough to touch.

We’ll also sail by the Seven Sisters Mountain range, a series of stunning peaks that are steeped in local legend.
