Day 1: Arrive Penang

Penang, affectionately known as one of the “Pearls of the Orient,” is a vibrant island off the coast of Malaysia, renowned for its rich history, cultural diversity, and world-famous cuisine. Once a British colony for over 150 years, Penang has evolved into a melting pot of traditions, making it a must-visit destination for travellers.

Upon your arrival at Penang International Airport, your tour guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you to Penang Road for a lunch feast of authentic local dishes. Indulge in favourites such as Char Kuey Teow, Fried Oyster, Hokkien Mee, Assam Laksa, Popiah, Cendol, and Rojak.

Day 3: Penang ~ Ipoh

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and depart for Ipoh at 9:00 AM. The journey will take approximately three hours.

Upon arriving in Ipoh around 12:00 PM, you’ll embark on the Ipoh Heritage Walk, a fascinating exploration of the city’s historical landmarks. Highlights include the Ipoh Railway Station, J.W.W. Birch Tower, and the charming Concubine Lane, known for its colonial-era shophouses and boutique stores. There will also be an opportunity to browse local product shops for souvenirs.
