Best Time To Travel – The best time to travel to the Philippines is from December to February. Here temperatures range between 23°C to 30°C and the country is fully accessible, including its many stunning islands and as well as remote areas.

Capital City – The capital of Philippines is Manila.  The population is a very busy 113 million.

Currency –  The national currency in Philippines is the Philippine Peso (PHP). The approximate exchange rate is $1 = 36 Pesos

Approximate Travel Time – 8-10 hours. There are quite a few direct flights to Manila from all main cities in Australia. 

Religion – 89% of people living in Philippines Roman Catholic.   

Famous Dish – Adobo is the unofficial national dish of the Philippines.  It’s usually made with pork and is marinated in vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, bay leaves, and black peppercorns, which is browned in oil, and simmered in the marinade. 

Visa Required – No. You can enter the Philippines without a visa for a period of stay of 30 days or less, provided that you meet all of the requirements and certain conditions. Entry and exit conditions can change at short notice..

Fitness Level – We rate our Philippines tours as requiring a low to moderate fitness level.  The tours themselves are not strenuous, however you will need to be fully mobile to walk around and get in and out of boats and other modes of transportation.
